Where to Buy K-Pop Merch from Korea in 2026: Official Sites Compared

Most official K-pop stores in Korea sell to fans abroad directly. Weverse Shop ships overseas from Korea, SMTOWN &STORE's English site ships worldwide except Korea, Japan and mainland China, YG SELECT's English site has a World Shipping list, and YES24 Global sells albums in US dollars. Check those first. The harder cases are JYP's new FANS SHOP, Korean-site-only benefits, and boxes that mix several stores.

This guide compares the official agency shops, album retailers and bookstores, with what each one does for overseas fans and where it stops.

Which official K-pop stores ship worldwide?

Weverse Shop (shop.weverse.io). The store attached to the Weverse fan platform, used by HYBE artists and many others. It has three sellers: Weverse Global, which ships from Korea, Weverse Japan and Weverse America. Its help center describes international orders from the Global seller, with return shipping for defects refunded by PayPal. Whether a product ships to your country is shown on the product.

One change matters in 2026. Since February 3, 2026, for products sold and shipped from Korea, prices for overseas addresses are shown without Korean tax, destination taxes are added at checkout, and duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout instead of collected on delivery. Weverse says some countries and regions are excluded from prepayment. See our Weverse Shop guide.

SMTOWN &STORE (en.smtownandstore.com). SM Entertainment's own shop, for NCT, aespa, RIIZE, Red Velvet, SHINee, EXO and the rest of the roster. The English site ships "worldwide (destinations excluding Korea, Japan, Mainland China)," with delivery in 5 to 10 business days after payment, or after stock arrives for albums and preorders. It takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and PayPal. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted; defective or wrong items can be returned within 30 days. See the SMTOWN &STORE guide.

YG SELECT (en.ygselect.com). YG Entertainment's store for BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, TREASURE and others. The English site takes Eximbay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, and ships through a "World Shipping" option with an estimated 15 to 20 days. Check that your country is on its shipping list before ordering. FANS SHOP for JYP (app.fans/shop). JYP's old address, thejypshop.com, now redirects to FANS SHOP, run by Blue Garage with JYP Entertainment. Which album stores and bookstores sell K-pop abroad?

YES24 Global (global.yes24.com). YES24 is a big Korean bookstore that also sells albums. Its English global store has a Music & Vinyl section with K-pop albums, concert DVDs, OSTs and LPs, and a Star Shop with photobooks, magazines, merchandise and season's greetings, all priced in US dollars. Aladin (aladin.co.kr). Aladin ships abroad by EMS, DHL and UPS, but its guide warns that non-book items, including CDs and DVDs, may be restricted depending on the shipping method, and cosmetics cannot be sent. UPS to the Americas was marked as temporarily suspended. It points US and Canada residents to its US site. See the Aladin guide.

Kyobo and Hottracks. Kyobo ships books abroad, charged per book, and raised that rate by ₩5,000 per book from October 1, 2026, according to SBS Biz. Hottracks, its music and stationery arm, sells albums, often with its own preorder benefits. See the Kyobo guide.

What do the Korean versions of these stores charge?

If an item is only on a Korean site, the Korean store's own rules apply before anything leaves the country. This is what the Korean SM and YG stores publish (as of October 2026):

Two things follow from this. First, the ₩50,000 free-shipping line is worth reaching when an agent buys for you, since the domestic fee is part of your total. Two albums often get there. Second, the 7-day return window runs from when the item reaches the warehouse in Korea, not your home. That is why inspection photos matter: a wrong version can still be sent back while it is in Korea.

For photocards alone, Pocamarket's global service ships directly. Its fee page lists Express at US$30 and K-Packet at US$12 to the US, with 190 destinations in its table.

When do you need someone in Korea to buy for you?

Ordering direct works for most fans most of the time. A purchasing agent is useful in a few specific cases.

• Korean-site-only benefits. Agency shops often have separate Korean and global stores, and a preorder benefit or photocard may be attached only to one of them. See K-pop preorder benefits.
• Products set to Korea delivery. Some items on Weverse Shop or FANS SHOP do not deliver to every country.
• Several stores, one box. An album from Hottracks, a lightstick from an agency shop and a magazine from YES24 each ship separately if you order direct. Combined in Korea, they share one international shipment. See combining orders.
• Your country is excluded. SM's English site excludes Japan, for example.
• Korean bookstores' goods. Store-exclusive goods may not qualify for the bookstore's own overseas shipping.

What an agent cannot do: enter fansign or video call events for you, or buy concert tickets tied to your identity. Those need you.

How to order K-pop merch through HaulKorea

1. Find the product on the Korean store and copy the address.
2. Write the version. Albums often come in several versions, plus a random one. Name it in words, for example "Photobook ver. B" or "Digipack, random."
3. Note the benefit. If you want a specific preorder benefit, tell us which store's benefit and check the dates on the product page.
4. Add other items from other Korean stores if you want one box.
5. Check the total. It includes international shipping. You pay once by PayPal, with no Korean phone, card or account.
6. We buy and receive everything at our warehouse in Korea.
7. Check the inspection photos before shipping. Look at the version, the benefit and the packaging.
8. We ship. If the box weighs less than estimated, we refund the shipping difference. No second charge.

Duty and tax are not included in the total. In every country, including the US, the recipient pays local duty, tax and any carrier clearance fee on arrival.

Which Korean words show up on album pages?

Korean store pages are where version and benefit details hide. These terms come up constantly.

Do overseas purchases count on Korean charts?

It depends on the store. SMTOWN &STORE's English guide says its album sales count on the Circle (formerly Gaon) album chart, and that Hanteo counts albums actually shipped from the warehouse. Other stores make their own statements, often on the product page or notices. If chart counting matters to you, read the store's notice before you buy, rather than assuming.

What can go wrong?

Random versions. "Random" means random. Ask for a specific version if one is listed.

Benefit ran out. Preorder photocards are often limited to the period or the stock. A late order may arrive without it.

Damaged corners. Album boxes dent in transit. Our inspection photos show condition before export; ask for extra padding if condition matters to you.

Lightstick batteries. Lightsticks run on batteries, and some ship with them. Carrier rules on batteries vary. Ask us before you order.

Region-locked items. If a product will not deliver to your country, that is a store decision. A Korean-delivery route through an agent is one option; ask us first.
