HaulKorea Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Autoluna (오토루나), the operator of HaulKorea (haulkorea.com, the "Service"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information. We follow the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

1. What we collect

2. Why we use it
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To buy the products you order, store them, and ship them to you.
- To prepare export declarations and customs documents.
- To take payments, issue refunds and keep the records the law requires.
- To send you service messages (verification, order, payment, shipping, storage and refund notices).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to keep the Service secure.
- To send marketing messages, only if you separately agree. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs for the purpose listed.

We do not sell your personal information.

These providers process data only on our instructions.
5. International transfer
Because we ship abroad and use the providers above, your information is transferred outside Korea. This happens over encrypted connections when you use the Service or when we hand over a parcel. The recipients, countries, data and purposes are listed in Sections 3 and 4. The data is kept for the periods in Section 6. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you cannot use the Service, because international shipping requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Account information: until you close your account.
- Records of contracts, orders, payments and refunds: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
- Records of consumer complaints and disputes: 3 years (same Act).
- Tax and export records: 5 years from the tax filing deadline for the transaction (Framework Act on National Taxes, Customs Act).
- Shipping details (recipient name, address, phone number, email and customs ID on orders and shipments, delivery photos, tracking descriptions and locations, delivery issue messages, and export declarations): these are part of the transaction, tax and export records above. Because tax records are counted from the filing deadline, we keep them for 5 years and 18 months after the parcel ships (after the shipment was created, if it never shipped, or after the order was placed, if it has no shipment), and then delete them.
- Shipping status messages from our logistics partner (these contain recipient details): 90 days after we process them, or 1 year after we receive them if they could not be processed.
- Access logs: up to 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act), and no longer than our hosting provider's default log retention.
When a retention period ends, we delete the data or make it permanently anonymous. Your order history (items and amounts, without recipient details) stays in your account while your account is open.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information, and you may withdraw any consent you gave. Email hello@autolunaai.com from your account email. We will reply within 10 days. We may keep data that the law requires us to keep (Section 6).
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, protect your account, and block automated abuse (including Cloudflare security cookies). We do not use advertising cookies. If you block them, you may not be able to sign in.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords only as one-way hashes, limit staff access to what each role needs, and keep access logs.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes
We will post any change to this Policy on the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that significantly affect your rights.
