What is Musinsa Mujinjang?

Musinsa is one of Korea's biggest fashion platforms, selling thousands of Korean and global brands. 무진장 (mujinjang) is a Korean word meaning "endlessly" or "a huge amount," and Musinsa uses it as the name of its signature sale.

Mujinjang has run twice a year since 2022, once in summer and once in winter. The winter edition is timed to the global Black Friday season. Musinsa runs it both online and in its offline stores, and recent editions have set sales records.

The sale is built around rotating deal types. For the winter 2025 edition, Musinsa and Korean press listed:

• Signature deals (시그니처 특가): Brand bestsellers at the event's deepest discounts, up to 80% off.
• Limited-quantity deals: First-come items at set times.
• One-day deals: A different brand or product each day.
• Seasonless deals: Basics that are not tied to winter.
• Category days: Relay discounts by category on set dates.

When is Musinsa Black Friday 2026?

As of October 15, 2026, no dates had been announced for the winter 2026 Mujinjang. Here is the recent history:

Shoppers also buy in bulk. In winter 2024, Digital Times reported average spending of ₩164,000 per customer and an average of 3.18 items per customer, with winter outerwear among the top categories.

The winter sale moved earlier in 2025, from late November to mid-November. Summer editions have started in mid-June both years. Musinsa usually opens a teaser period with pre-event coupons a couple of days before the main sale. Watch the Musinsa app and Musinsa's newsroom from late October.

What did the winter 2025 Mujinjang offer?

According to Musinsa's event page and Korean press coverage, the winter 2025 edition included:

• Scale: About 4,500 brands and more than 600,000 products.
• Discounts: Up to 80% off in signature deals.
• Teaser coupon: A 12% coupon for buying kids, accessories, beauty or SPA items during the teaser period.
• Count-up coupons: Up to 40% off for the first 1,000 people each time total sales passed another ₩10 billion. One per person.
• Welcome and final coupons: Up to 30%.
• Random-draw coupons: 5% to 80%, plus small amounts of Musinsa points.
• Lowest-price guarantee: If a badged item was cheaper elsewhere, Musinsa paid the difference in Musinsa points.

Results and bestsellers

According to Youth Daily and Economist, reporting Musinsa's figures:

• Online sales: ₩368.5 billion, with more than 7.19 million items sold.
• Online and offline combined: ₩380 billion over the event.
• Record day: ₩52.4 billion on November 26, the final day.
• Live commerce: 27 broadcasts brought in ₩13.2 billion, up 40%. Broadcasts for The Barnet and UGG each passed ₩1.5 billion.
• Offline: 34 Musinsa Store and Musinsa Standard locations, up from 21 the year before, with about 1.4 million visitors.
• Day-one bestsellers: Shoes such as the Nike Air Force 1 '07 and UGG Tasman slippers, and winter outerwear from Fancy Club, Drawfit and thisisneverthat.

What did the summer 2026 Mujinjang look like?

The most recent edition shows how the event is evolving. According to the Korea Economic Daily:

• Teaser: June 12 at 7 p.m. to June 14 at 7 p.m., with pre-open coupons of up to 30% and a draw for coupons of up to 80%.
• Main sale: June 14 at 7 p.m. to June 24 at 11:59 p.m.
• Deals: Ongoing signature deals plus limited-quantity deals three times a day.
• Fifth-anniversary count-up: Coupons of up to 50% as cumulative sales hit milestones.
• Offline: Pop-up zones at Musinsa Megastore Yongsan, Kicks Hongdae and Kicks Seongsu, plus archive sales at 10 stores.

Results: more than ₩265.8 billion online and ₩283 billion including stores, with nearly 7.75 million items sold online. 470 brands each passed ₩100 million in sales, and more than 85% of those were Korean brands. Kinchi's "The Bishoes Shower 808" sold close to ₩800 million as a single product.

What time does Mujinjang start in your time zone?

The winter 2025 and summer 2026 main sales both opened at 7 p.m. Korea time (KST, UTC+9). Korea does not use daylight saving time. If winter 2026 keeps the same 7 p.m. start, here is when that falls in November:

The first night matters most. Popular sizes and limited-quantity deals go first, and in winter 2025 Musinsa reported more than ₩60 billion in sales within about 25 hours of the start, according to Economist.

What happens in Musinsa's Seoul stores during Mujinjang?

If you will be in Seoul during the sale, the offline side is worth a visit. In winter 2025, Musinsa ran:

• A Seongsu-wide event zone from November 15, with about 50 partner cafes, gyms, photo booths and restaurants in Seongsu-dong. Visitors could collect a first-come 10% Musinsa coupon.
• A treasure hunt on November 15, 16, 22 and 23, from noon to 4 p.m., with lockers holding prizes such as sneakers, beauty products and coupons.
• Store traffic: About 23,000 visitors on November 16 across Musinsa Store Seongsu, Hongdae, Gangnam and Daegu, according to Economist.

In-store prices and coupons can differ from online ones, so check both before you buy.

Which Korea-only brands should you watch during Mujinjang?

The point of shopping Musinsa from abroad is the Korean brands that are hard to find elsewhere. In the summer 2026 edition, more than 85% of the brands that passed ₩100 million in sales were Korean.

Brands that showed up in recent Mujinjang coverage:

Global brands like Nike and UGG also sell heavily during the event. If you live in the US, compare those prices with your local Black Friday prices first. Korean-market prices for global brands are not always lower once shipping and duty are added.

Can you shop Mujinjang from outside Korea?

Not easily, and the global site is a separate store.

Musinsa Global. Musinsa runs an international store at global.musinsa.com. Its location page lists 13 markets: Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Musinsa Global carries a smaller set of brands than the Korean site and runs its own prices and promotions. Mujinjang deals on the Korean site do not automatically apply there. If the item you want is on Musinsa Global at a good price and ships to you, buy it there.

The Korean site. Mujinjang happens on musinsa.com and the Korean app, which require a Korean account with 본인인증 (bon-in injeung, identity verification), Korean payment methods and a Korean delivery address. Coupons are downloaded to that account.

How do you order Mujinjang deals with HaulKorea?

1. Build a list before the sale. Search the items on the Korean Musinsa site and save the links. The product address looks like musinsa.com/products/ followed by a number.

3. Send us the links when the sale opens, with size, color and quantity for each.
4. Flag time-limited deals. For a limited-quantity deal, tell us the release time.
5. Check the total. We show one total including international shipping. You pay once by PayPal.
6. We buy, receive and photograph your items at our warehouse in Korea.
7. We ship one box. If the final weight costs less to ship, we refund the difference. No second charge.

Duties and taxes are not included in our total. The recipient pays any duty, tax and carrier clearance fee in their own country. In the US, CBP ended duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value shipments from all countries on August 29, 2025, so clothing orders of any size can be charged duty.

Is the Mujinjang discount worth it from abroad?

It depends on what you buy. A rough way to decide:

International shipping is usually charged by actual weight or by size (volume weight), whichever is greater. Puffer jackets weigh little but take up space, so one jacket can cost more to ship than several T-shirts. Buy outerwear where the discount is large.

How does Mujinjang fit with other November sales?

Mujinjang is not the only big sale in a Korean November. Gmarket's Big Smile Day and 11st's Grand 11 Day both ran November 1 to 11 in 2025, and Pepero Day falls on November 11. Those marketplaces sell some of the same brands, so a jacket on Musinsa may also be listed by a seller on another platform at a different price. What can go wrong with Musinsa Black Friday orders?

Sizes sell out first. Popular sizes go early on the first night. Send your list as soon as the sale opens.

Coupons are account-based. Count-up coupons, draw coupons and the lowest-price guarantee points are tied to the buyer's own Musinsa account. They may not apply when someone else buys for you.

Limited deals end fast. Some signature and limited-quantity deals sell out within minutes.

Dispatch slows down. With millions of items sold in about 11 days, some brands take longer than usual to ship. Check the dispatch information on each Musinsa page, because delays push back the day an item reaches our warehouse. If you are combining several items into one box, the slowest one sets the shipping date.

No easy returns. Returning a Korean order from abroad is slow and often costs more than the item. Check measurements carefully.

Dates are not fixed. The winter sale moved from late November in 2024 to mid-November in 2025. Do not assume 2026 will match either year.
