thisisneverthat Korea: Global Store vs Korean Drops (2026)
thisisneverthat is a Seoul streetwear brand, and it already sells abroad through its own international online store, priced in US dollars, which ships to most countries. So for most buyers outside Korea, the global store is the first place to look. The Korean store matters when an item, color or size is missing or sold out on the global site, or when you want Korean won pricing and to combine it with other Korean shopping.
This guide compares the two official stores, lists real Korean prices for the FW26 season, explains sizing, and shows when ordering from Korea makes sense.

What is thisisneverthat?
thisisneverthat (always written in lowercase) is a contemporary streetwear label based in Seoul. The brand describes itself in one line on its store: a contemporary fashion brand based out of Seoul, founded in 2010.
A brand history published by London retailer Goodhood names the three founders as Nadan Cho, Jonkyu Choi and Inwook Park. The same piece says the founders drew on street cultures they had seen while living in cities such as London and New York, and wanted a look that mixed global streetwear with a Korean identity.
Over the years the brand has worked with New Balance, Timberland, Clarks Originals, Pokémon and The Grateful Dead, among others, according to that history. Collaborations are a big part of why people abroad search for Korean releases, because each partner's release plan can differ by region.
What does it sell?
The Korean store groups its catalog into outerwear, knits, tops, sweatshirts, pants, shirts, T-shirts, shorts, headwear, bags, accessories, underwear and socks. Headwear and T-shirts have the most listings, followed by sweatshirts and pants.
The look is easy to spot: the small T-logo, the "SP" sport logo, the "T.N.T. Classic" print, and seasonal graphics. Fits are mostly regular or relaxed. Down jackets and fleece carry the winter season, while caps and beanies are year-round sellers.
Can you buy thisisneverthat outside Korea?
Yes, and directly from the brand. This is the most important point in this guide.
The brand runs at least three official online stores, each tied to a region:
| Store | Address | Currency | Who it serves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Korea (KR) | thisisneverthat.com | Korean won (₩) | Delivery inside Korea |
| International (INTL) | intl.thisisneverthat.com | US dollars | Ships to 203 countries and territories on its list |
| Japan (JP) | Japanese official store | Japanese yen | Japan |
The international store's shipping policy lists UPS, FedEx, Yamato, SF Express and ZTO as carriers, with rates based on the total order weight. It notes that shipping to Russia and Ukraine is temporarily unavailable. Its destination list includes the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Germany, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan. Japan and Korea are not on it, because each has its own store.
Musinsa also sells the brand. The Korean Musinsa app has a thisisneverthat brand shop, and Musinsa Global's US site lists an official thisisneverthat store. If you already shop on Musinsa, see our Musinsa store guide.
So if you live in the US, Europe or most of Asia and the item you want is on the international store in your size, buy it there. You get English checkout, the brand's own international returns and no middle step.
Why would you buy from the Korean store instead?
There are four honest reasons. If none of them applies to you, the global store is the simpler choice.
1. The item is not on the international store
The two stores carry nearly the same catalog, but not exactly. When we compared the public product lists of both stores on October 15, 2026, the Korean store showed 1,043 listings and the international store 1,056. About 30 Korean listings had no matching listing on the international store.
The clearest example was the fragment design capsule. Hypebeast reported in August 2026 that thisisneverthat and Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design made their first collaboration, a small "neverenough" capsule of a hoodie, a crewneck and a T-shirt, releasing in Japan on August 7 through the brand's own stores and online store. On the Korean store, all three pieces were listed (the hoodie at ₩169,000, the crewneck at ₩139,000 and the tee at ₩79,000, as of October 2026). We found no fragment design listings on the international store.
Other Korean-only listings on that day included the T-Logo Hoodie (₩109,000), the PERTEX® SP-Logo Windbreaker (₩189,000), a GORE-TEX 2L Reversible Jacket and some older collaboration pieces. Catalogs change daily, so treat this as a snapshot, not a permanent list.
2. Your size or color is sold out globally but not in Korea
Each store has its own stock. A size that is gone on the international store can still be available in Korea, or the other way round. Check both before you give up on a piece.
Be realistic about hyped collaborations, though. On October 15, 2026, every size of the fragment design hoodie, crewneck and tee showed as sold out on the Korean store too. A Korean store listing does not mean stock.
3. Korean won pricing
The Korean store sets prices in won and the international store sets its own dollar prices. For many FW26 items the two numbers look almost the same, for example:
| Item | Korean store (₩, as of October 2026) | International store (USD, as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| PERTEX® T Down Jacket | ₩279,000 / ₩299,000 by color | $280 / $300 |
| Washed Down Puffer Jacket | ₩279,000 | $290 |
| Leather Hooded Jacket | ₩699,000 | $700 |
| SP Sherpa Fleece Jacket | ₩179,000 | $180 |
| T.N.T. Classic HDP Hoodie | ₩105,000 | $120 |
| T.N.T. Classic HDP Crewneck | ₩95,000 | $100 |
| Originals Cap | ₩52,000 | $50 |
| Overdyed Canvas Backpack | ₩189,000 | $185 |
Whether the won price is cheaper for you depends on the exchange rate on the day you pay, and on shipping and import tax. Do the math with real numbers before choosing. A ₩105,000 hoodie only beats a $120 hoodie if shipping and duty do not eat the gap.
4. You are combining it with other Korean shopping
If you are also buying from Musinsa, Olive Young or a K-pop shop, one combined box from Korea can be cheaper than two separate international parcels. This is where a purchasing agent helps most.

Prices change with sales and new drops. Check the product page before ordering.
How does thisisneverthat sizing work?
Unlike many Korean brands, thisisneverthat uses letter sizes rather than the Korean 90/95/100 numbers. Most FW26 tops and outerwear run S to XL, and down jackets add XS. Caps and beanies are one size (OS).
The international store publishes a size finder that maps height and weight to a size, with three fit choices: true-to-size, regular and relaxed. For men's outerwear, a sample from that data:
| Height (cm) | Weight (kg) | True to size | Regular look | Relaxed look |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 170 to 180 | 50 to 60 | S | M | L |
| 170 to 180 | 60 to 70 | M | L | XL |
| 170 to 180 | 70 to 80 | L | XL | XL |
| 160 to 170 | 50 to 60 | S | M | L |
| 160 to 170 | 70 to 80 | L | XL | XL |
Notice how the brand expects many people to size up for a looser look. If you want the boxy, oversized fit you see in lookbooks, the "relaxed" column is the one to follow.
Practical rules:
- Use garment measurements, not the letter. Each product page lists centimeter measurements. Compare them with a piece you own laid flat.
- Check the fit word. Most items say "Regular fit" in the description, but some are cropped or oversized.
- Check fabric weight. Heavy sweatshirts (the T.N.T. Classic HDP Hoodie is 450gsm cotton) feel stiffer and hang differently from a 340gsm hoodie.
- XL is the top size. If you usually wear XXL in US brands, check the chest measurement carefully.
Our Korean clothing size chart explains how Korean brand sizes compare with US, UK and EU sizing.
What are the rules on the Korean store?
The Korean store's shipping policy, as of October 2026:
- Delivery: courier delivery anywhere in Korea, free, taking 2 to 5 business days. Remote island and mountain areas may cost extra.
- Change-of-mind returns: within 7 days of receiving the item. The return courier fee is ₩5,000 through the brand's designated courier, taken from the refund.
- Defective or wrong items: within 3 months, with the brand paying return shipping.
- No exchanges: you return the item and buy the other size separately.
- Not returnable: used items, items damaged by the customer, or missing tags, labels or packaging.
That 7-day window starts when the parcel arrives at the Korean address. If you buy through an agent or forwarder, it starts when the box reaches the warehouse, not when it reaches you.
What about the international store's rules?
The international store accepts return requests within 30 days of the original shipment date, for unworn, unwashed items with tags. It also does not offer exchanges. For change-of-mind returns, the customer pays return shipping and any customs clearance fees for re-importing into Korea, and the original shipping fee is not refunded.
So both stores are "return and reorder" only. The international store gives a longer window, which is one more reason to buy there when the item is available.
Buy direct, forward, or use an agent?
If the international store has what you want, it is usually the best option. If you need the Korean store, here is how the routes compare:
| Buy direct | You buy, we ship (package forwarding) | We buy for you (HaulKorea) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Which store | International store | Korean store | Korean store, Musinsa or others |
| Account and checkout | English, foreign card | Korean checkout, often needs Korean payment | We order; you send a link |
| Payment | Your card in USD | Korean payment method, then forwarder fees | One PayPal payment |
| Korea-only listings | Not available | Available | Available |
| Photos before shipping | No | Depends on the service | Yes, inspection photos |
| Combine with other Korean stores | No | Often | Yes |
| Returns | 30 days from shipment, to Korea | 7 days from receipt in Korea | 7 days from receipt in Korea |

How to order thisisneverthat from Korea, step by step
Here is how it works when HaulKorea buys from the Korean store for you.
- Check the international store first. If your item and size are there, buy it there.
- Find the item on the Korean store. Open thisisneverthat.com. The product names are in English, so browsing is easy even without Korean.
- Copy the product link and note the size and color. Many items list several colors on one page. Write down the exact color name.
- Send us the product link. Add size, color and quantity. Name a backup size or color if you are flexible.
- Get one total before paying. HaulKorea shows the product price, Korean delivery and international shipping in one figure. You pay once with PayPal. If the real weight turns out lower, we refund the shipping difference, and there is never a second charge.
- We place the order in Korea. Domestic delivery from the brand is free.
- Check the inspection photos. When the parcel reaches our Korean warehouse, we send photos before it ships. This is the time to catch a wrong size, while the 7-day return window is still open.
- Add other Korean items if you want. We can hold the parcel and pack it with orders from other stores. See how combining orders works.
- Receive it. In every country, including the US, the recipient pays local taxes, duties and any carrier clearance fee on arrival.
How do drops and collaborations work in Korea?
The brand releases each season in waves. On the Korean store, FW26 items were published in batches on dates including September 10, September 22 and October 8, 2026. Collaborations often launch on their own dates.
A few things to know:
- Hyped pieces sell out fast. As noted above, the fragment design capsule was sold out in every size on the Korean store by mid-October.
- Release plans differ by region. The fragment design capsule launched in Japan first, per Hypebeast, and appeared on the Korean store but not the international one.
- There are offline stores too. A Korean tax-refund shopping guide lists a thisisneverthat flagship store in Jeju, and the brand has shops in Seoul as well. In-store stock can differ from online, but an agent can only buy what is listed online.
For drops in general, see our guide to Korea-only collaborations. If you want to catch a release, send us the link before launch day and say so. We cannot guarantee a sold-out item, and we will not promise one.
Do you pay import tax on thisisneverthat?
This depends on your country and order value, whichever store you buy from.
United States. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels has been suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025. A February 2026 executive order kept the suspension in place, and the Court of International Trade upheld it on August 13, 2026. Congress has also repealed the exemption by law from July 1, 2027. For US orders through HaulKorea, duty is not included in the total; the recipient pays it to the carrier or postal service on delivery. See our US import duty guide for details.
Other countries. The recipient pays local VAT or GST and any duty when the parcel arrives, and the carrier may add a handling fee. The same applies when you buy from the international store, so tax is not a reason to pick one store over the other. Check your country's threshold before ordering a ₩299,000 down jacket.
Is it worth ordering thisisneverthat from Korea?
Yes, if:
- The item, color or size is only listed on the Korean store.
- You want a collaboration that the international store does not carry.
- You are already ordering from other Korean shops and can share one box.
- Your size is sold out on the international store but still listed in Korea.
Probably not, if:
- The international store has your size. Buying direct is simpler.
- You are unsure of your size. With no exchanges and a 7-day window, a wrong size is costly from abroad.
- You are chasing a sold-out collaboration. If Korea shows it sold out too, no route will find new stock.
How to avoid fakes
Popular streetwear gets copied. Stick to the official Korean store, the international store, the Japanese store and Musinsa's official brand shop. Resale sites can be fine for sold-out pieces, but check the seller, the exact item name, and photos of the tags. Our guide on avoiding fake Korean products has more checks.
FAQ
Does thisisneverthat ship internationally?
Yes. The brand runs an international online store priced in US dollars that ships to over 200 countries and territories by carriers such as UPS and FedEx, with rates based on order weight. Japan has its own store, and the Korean store delivers within Korea.
Is thisisneverthat cheaper in Korea?
Sometimes, but not by much. Many FW26 items cost about the same number in won (in thousands) as in dollars on the international store, such as ₩279,000 versus $280 for the PERTEX® T Down Jacket. Compare with the day's exchange rate, shipping and import tax before deciding.
Why is an item on the Korean site but not the global site?
Each regional store has its own catalog and stock. Some collaborations, like the 2026 fragment design capsule, appeared on the Korean store but not on the international one when we checked. Release plans are set per region and per partner.
What size should I get in thisisneverthat?
Most items come in S to XL, and down jackets add XS. The brand's size finder suggests sizing up one or two steps for a relaxed look. Compare the centimeter measurements on the product page with clothes you already own.
Can I exchange a size on the Korean store?
No. The Korean store does not offer exchanges. You return the item within 7 days of receipt, with a ₩5,000 courier fee for a change of mind, and buy the other size separately.
Is thisisneverthat on Musinsa?
Yes. Musinsa in Korea has a thisisneverthat brand shop, and Musinsa Global's US site lists an official thisisneverthat store. Stock and prices can differ from the brand's own stores.
Will I pay customs on a thisisneverthat order?
Possibly. HaulKorea's total does not include duty, so in every country, including the US, the recipient pays local tax and duty on arrival, whether the parcel comes from the international store or from Korea.
Can you combine thisisneverthat with other Korean purchases?
Yes. HaulKorea can hold your order at our Korean warehouse and pack it with items from other Korean stores in one box. Send all the product links together and ask for one combined total.
