Best Korean Websites for K-Beauty in 2026: Which Ship Abroad

By HaulKorea · Last checked 2026-10-15

The best Korean website for K-beauty depends on where you live. Olive Young Global ships to more than 60 countries and Gmarket Global ships abroad for sellers who enable it, so start there. US shoppers now use a separate Olive Young US store. The Korean sites with the widest range, oliveyoung.co.kr, Coupang, Daiso Mall and SSG.COM, deliver only inside Korea.

This guide compares the main Korean beauty sites, says which ones you can buy from directly, and explains when you need someone in Korea to buy for you.

Which Korean beauty sites ship internationally?

Start with the sites that sell to you directly. They are official, they take foreign cards, and you do not need anyone in between.

Olive Young Global (global.oliveyoung.com). Olive Young is Korea's largest health and beauty chain. Its global site states it ships to over 60 countries and regions. Its shipping page lists DHL, FedEx, LX Pantos, UPS and KSE as carriers, with EMS also mentioned. Free shipping starts at US$60 for most destinations. Prices are in US dollars, and it takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Alipay, among others.

Two limits matter. The site does not ship to the 50 US states or Washington, D.C. And orders over US$300 cannot be shipped, so a large haul has to be split.

Olive Young US (us.oliveyoung.com). On May 29, 2026, Olive Young opened a separate US online store alongside its first US shop in Pasadena, California. US residents visiting the global site are redirected there. It is run by a US company, CJ Olive Young USA, and fulfilled from a distribution center in California, so US shoppers order from inside the country.

Gmarket Global (global.gmarket.co.kr). Gmarket is a big Korean open marketplace, and its English site ships abroad. Carriers include Gmarket's partner shipping service, EMS, SF Express and DHL. Its fee calculator covers parcels from 0.5 kg to 30 kg. The catch is that each seller decides whether to offer overseas shipping, so not every listing on the Korean Gmarket appears on the global site. Shinsegae's SSG.COM has also opened a shop inside Gmarket Global, which brings some department store goods within reach. Read our Gmarket guide for the details.

Coupang Taiwan. If you live in Taiwan, Coupang runs a local store that sells most of its Korean Rocket Delivery range, with Coupang handling customs and delivery. Korean reporting in August 2025 called it the most visited overseas shopping platform in Taiwan.

Which Korean beauty sites deliver only inside Korea?

These are the sites Korean shoppers actually use day to day. They have the full range, the Korea-only sets and the sale prices, but they deliver to Korean addresses.

Olive Young Korea (oliveyoung.co.kr). The full Korean catalog, the live ranking chart, and the 기획 (gihoek, special set) bundles that pair a full size with a refill or travel size. It is also where the big 올영세일 (Olyeong seil, Olive Young sale) happens several times a year. See our Olive Young sale guide and the Olive Young store guide.

Coupang. Korea's largest online retailer. Drugstore skincare, sheet masks by the box, hair care and body care at everyday prices. The site is in Korean and built for shoppers with a Korean address and phone. See the Coupang guide.

Daiso Mall (daisomall.co.kr). Daiso Korea's fixed-price store. Several Korean cosmetics companies make small, Daiso-only lines that sit inside its price ceiling. Its official FAQ says overseas delivery is not provided, and signup requires Korean real-name verification. Domestic shipping is ₩3,000, free from ₩30,000 (as of October 2026). See the Daiso guide and our page on Daiso Korea skincare.

SSG.COM. Shinsegae's online mall, with a department store beauty section of premium counter brands. See the SSG guide.

Naver Smartstore and brand stores. Many small Korean beauty brands sell through their own Smartstore, sometimes with sets you will not find anywhere else. Delivery is set by each seller and is almost always domestic. See the Naver Smartstore guide.

Fashion apps with beauty sections. Musinsa, 29CM, W Concept, Ably and Zigzag all sell beauty alongside clothes. They are worth checking for brand collaborations and app-only sets. Our fashion website comparison covers how each one handles overseas buyers.

How do the main K-beauty sites compare?

Site Ships abroad Range Foreign cards Best for
Olive Young Global Yes, 60+ countries (not US) Curated subset of the Korean range Yes, plus PayPal Bestsellers, shipped direct
Olive Young US US only US selection, includes non-Korean brands Yes US shoppers who want local delivery
Olive Young Korea No Full Korean catalog, Korea-only sets Not something to count on New launches, sale prices, bundles
Gmarket Global Yes, per seller Large, varies by seller Yes, plus PayPal Brands not on Olive Young Global
Coupang Korea No (Taiwan has its own store) Huge, everyday prices Not confirmed Bulk buys, drugstore basics
Daiso Mall No Low-price exclusive lines Not confirmed Daiso-only skincare and tools
SSG.COM No Department store brands Not confirmed Premium counter brands
Naver Smartstore Rarely Indie and brand-direct shops Checkout needs Korean verification Small brands, store-only sets

When is the global site enough, and when is it not?

Use a global site first. It is the simplest route, and you deal with the store directly if anything goes wrong. Move to the Korean site only if one of these applies:

  • The product is not listed globally. Global stores carry a selection. New indie brands and some lines appear on the Korean site first or only.
  • You want the Korean bundle. A 기획 set with a free refill is often sold only on the Korean site.
  • You want the Korean sale price. Korean sale events and app coupons apply to the Korean site.
  • You want Daiso-only products. Those lines are made for Daiso Korea.
  • You live in the US and want something the US store does not carry. The global site no longer serves US addresses, so the Korean site is the other official source.
  • Your order is above US$300 on Olive Young Global. You must split it, and each part has its own shipping.

Prices are not always lower on the Korean site once you add international shipping. Our article on whether K-beauty is cheaper in Korea walks through the math.

How do you buy from a Korea-only beauty site?

You have three choices.

Buy direct You buy, we ship (package forwarding) We buy for you (HaulKorea)
Works on Korea-only sites No Only if you can pass signup and pay Yes
Korean phone verification Required on most You pass it yourself Not needed
Payment Korean methods Your card, if accepted One PayPal payment
Mix Olive Young, Coupang and Daiso in one box No Yes Yes
Who handles a wrong item in Korea You You We do
Duties Depends on the site Usually paid on arrival Paid by you on arrival, US included

Forwarding works if you already have a verified Korean account and a card the store accepts. If you do not, a purchasing agent buys for you.

How to order Korean beauty products through HaulKorea

  1. Find each product on the Korean site and copy its address. Olive Young, Coupang, Daiso Mall, a Smartstore, anywhere.
  2. Write the exact option. Volume (ml or g), shade number, and whether you want the 기획 set or the single item.
  3. Send us all the links at once with your country.
  4. Check the total. It includes international shipping. You pay once by PayPal. No Korean card, phone or account is needed.
  5. We buy everything and receive it at our warehouse in Korea. Orders from different stores go into one box. See how combining orders works.
  6. Check the inspection photos. We photograph the items before shipping, so you can confirm shade, size and set contents.
  7. We ship. If the parcel weighs less than estimated, we refund the shipping difference. There is no second charge.

Duty and tax are not included in the total. In every country, including the US, the recipient pays local duty, tax and any carrier clearance fee on arrival.

Which K-beauty products have shipping restrictions?

Most skincare travels without trouble: creams, toners, serums, sheet masks, cleansers in ordinary bottles. Some categories are different.

Product type Why it may be restricted What to do
Perfume and body mist Alcohol-based, treated as flammable on many air routes Ask us before you order
Aerosol sprays (sun sprays, setting sprays, dry shampoo) Pressurized containers are restricted in air freight Ask us before you order
Nail polish and remover Flammable liquids Ask us before you order
Sunscreen Some countries regulate it as a drug or have ingredient rules Check your country's rules; see Korean sunscreen
Devices with batteries (LED masks, facial devices) Lithium battery rules; also voltage Ask us before you order
Supplements and "inner beauty" products Food or drug rules differ by country Ask us before you order

Our guide to what you cannot ship from Korea covers the general rules. Global stores follow the same carrier rules, so a product missing from a global site is sometimes missing for this reason.

What do people buy from Korean beauty sites?

The categories that keep showing up in Korean rankings and overseas orders:

  • Toners and toner pads. Korea's skincare routines lean on them, and Korean listings often add a free refill pack.
  • Sunscreen. Korean formulas are a big reason people shop Korean sites. See our Korean sunscreen page.
  • Serums and ampoules. The center of most Korean routines, often sold in sets with a travel size.
  • Sheet masks. Cheaper by the box on Coupang and Daiso than one at a time.
  • Lip tints and cushions. Korea-only shades and collaboration packaging appear on the Korean site first.
  • Hair care. Treatments and scalp care. See Korean hair care.
  • Award winners. Olive Young's yearly awards list is a shopping list for many. See Olive Young Awards.

Which Korean words help on beauty product pages?

Korean sites are in Korean, and browser translation handles most of a product page. A few words decide what you actually get, so it helps to recognize them.

Korean Romanization Meaning on a beauty listing
기획 gihoek Special set, often with a bonus item
증정 jeungjeong Free gift included
리필 ripil Refill
용량 yongnyang Volume or weight (ml, g)
호 / 호수 ho / hosu Shade number (21호, 23호)
1+1 wonpeulleoseuwon Buy one, get one
단독 dandok Exclusive to this store
품절 pumjeol Sold out

When you send us a link, use these words or copy the Korean option text exactly. "21호 기획 (리필 증정)" leaves no doubt about which version you mean. Our Korean online shopping glossary has the full list.

What should you watch out for?

Different formulas or sizes by market. A product sold on a global site can differ in size or packaging from the Korean version. Compare ml and the ingredient list.

Expiry dates. Korean labels show 제조일자 (jejo ilja, manufacture date) or 사용기한 (sayong gihan, use-by date). Check the photos when your items arrive at the warehouse.

Authenticity. Buying from Olive Young, a brand's official store or a department store removes most doubt. Unknown marketplace sellers with prices far below everyone else are a risk. See our guide to avoiding fake Korean products.

Sale timing. Korean sales move fast and coupons are often app-only. A purchasing agent places the order after you send the link, so a deal that ends within hours can be missed. Send links early.

Returns. Returns are realistic only while items are still in Korea. Use the inspection photos to catch wrong shades before export. See returns from Korean stores.

FAQ

What is the best Korean website for K-beauty?

Olive Young Global does not ship to the 50 US states or D.C. Since May 29, 2026, US residents use the separate Olive Young US store, which ships within the US.

Can I order from Olive Young Korea from overseas?

Not directly. The Korean site delivers to Korean addresses. You can use the global or US site, or have someone in Korea buy for you.

Does Coupang ship K-beauty abroad?

Coupang Korea delivers inside Korea. Shoppers in Taiwan can use Coupang's Taiwan store, which sells much of its Korean Rocket Delivery range.

Does Daiso Korea ship internationally?

No. Daiso Mall's official FAQ says overseas delivery is not provided, and membership requires Korean real-name verification.

Is Gmarket Global good for K-beauty?

It is useful for brands and sellers that are not on Olive Young Global. Each seller chooses whether to offer overseas shipping, and the recipient pays any import duty.

Who pays customs on Korean beauty orders?

On Olive Young Global and Gmarket Global, the recipient pays any duty and tax. With HaulKorea, the recipient also pays on arrival, in the US and everywhere else.

Can I get perfume or sunscreen spray from Korea?

These are restricted on many air routes because they are flammable or pressurized. Ask us before you order, and check your country's rules.

Where should you start?
