Olive Young Awards Winners: 2025 Results and How to Buy (2026)

The Olive Young Awards (올리브영 어워즈) are a yearly ranking by Olive Young, the Korean health and beauty chain, of its best-selling products in each category, based on real purchase data. The 2025 edition, announced on November 28, 2025, named 166 products across 40 categories. Many winners, such as Round Lab's Dokdo Toner and Torriden's Dive-In Serum, are already sold abroad on Olive Young Global and Olive Young US. Others, and many Korea-only award sets, are easiest to get from the Korean site through an agent.

This guide explains how the awards work, lists the confirmed 2025 category winners, shows where each can be bought, and covers what to expect for the 2026 edition.

What are the Olive Young Awards?

The awards are Olive Young's own year-end ranking. Instead of a judging panel picking favorites, the company counts what customers actually bought over a 12-month window, then names the top products in each category.

For 2025, CJ Olive Young said it analyzed about 180 million (1.8억) customer purchases made between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. That produced 40 categories and 166 winning products. In 2024 the count was about 160 million purchases, 33 categories and 137 products, according to CJ's December 2024 press release.

Because the awards reflect sales rather than opinion, they work as a shopping list of what Korean customers buy most. That is why people abroad search for them.

How are winners ranked?

Each category usually has first-place products plus additional awards. LG Household & Health Care's own release about the 2025 awards, for example, mentions a first place in hand care, an "MD's Pick" in the base category, and a "Rising Star" award in a trend category. So a product labeled as an award winner is not always a first-place winner. Check the label on the product page.

What changed in 2025?

CJ Olive Young added four domestic categories in 2025: self-beauty (셀프뷰티, selp-byuti), lifestyle (라이프스타일), hand care (핸드케어) and oral aftercare (구강애프터케어). It also created three global categories, Best Performer, Rising and Rookie. These used purchase data from Olive Young's domestic stores and its Global Mall, which CJ described as usable in 150 countries.

The Hall of Fame

In 2024, Olive Young added five brands to its Hall of Fame: Mediheal, Mise-en-scène, Bioderma, Isoi and Clio. CJ said Mediheal had won for ten consecutive years, and that Clio had won 40 category awards over ten years, the most of any brand.

Who won the 2025 Olive Young Awards?

Olive Young published the full list on its Korean online mall from November 30, 2025. Korean outlet Insight reported these first-place winners in December 2025:

Two more awards were confirmed by the brand owner. LG Household & Health Care said its VDL Cover Stain Perfecting Foundation received MD's Pick in the base category, and its VDL Cover Stain High Cover Cushion received Rising Star in a trend category. LG also said the Beyond hand cream rose from third place in 2023 to first in 2025.

What these winners have in common

Look at the list and a pattern appears. The skincare winners are mostly gentle, everyday products: a mild toner, a hydrating serum, a barrier cream, a soothing pad and a moisturizing sunscreen. These are products people buy again and again, which is exactly what a purchase-count award rewards.

That also makes them good candidates for buying from Korea. Repeat-purchase items are often sold in 기획 (gihoek, special bundle) sets with extra refills or minis, and Korean sets change often.

Can you buy Olive Young Awards winners outside Korea?

Often, yes. Check the official overseas stores first.

Olive Young Global (global.oliveyoung.com) is run by Olive Young and ships to more than 60 countries. Its shipping page lists destinations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and the Middle East. It does not ship to the 50 US states or Washington, D.C.

Olive Young US launched on May 29, 2026, alongside Olive Young's first US store in Pasadena, California. Olive Young's notice said US visitors to the Global site are redirected to the US store from that date.

So for most headline winners, the official overseas store is the simplest route. Olive Young Global even ran its own award-labeled sets.

When does the Korean site make sense?

• The set you want is Korea-only. The Korean site and Global choose and price their own sets. A Korean award set with a particular bonus may not exist on Global.
• The winner is not on Global or US. Not every one of the 166 products is listed overseas, especially smaller brands and new categories.
• Your country is not on Global's list. Global serves about 60 destinations, not every country.
• You are combining stores. If you also want fashion, K-pop or stationery from Korea, one box can be cheaper than separate parcels.

Are Olive Young Awards products cheaper in Korea?

Sometimes. Olive Young Global prices in US dollars and runs its own promotions on its own calendar, so a Korean sale price does not carry over. Korean prices also depend on 기획 sets: the same toner can come with a free refill in Korea one month and alone the next.

When will the 2026 Olive Young Awards be announced?

Olive Young had not announced the 2026 awards when we checked on October 15, 2026. Past timing gives a guide:

Both recent editions were announced in late November or early December and tied to the December Olive Young Sale. If the pattern holds, expect the 2026 list around the same time, but wait for the official announcement before planning around exact dates.

Which award products are hard to ship abroad?

Most skincare ships fine, but some winners need care.

Rechargeable beauty tools

The Fillimilli heated eyelash curler won beauty tools in 2025, and some versions are rechargeable. Products with built-in lithium batteries face air shipping rules that vary by carrier and destination. Ask us before you order any battery-powered device.

Cleansing oils, toners and large liquids

Liquids ship by air in most cases, but they add weight. A 500ml toner set weighs far more than a serum. Leaks are also a risk, so we pack liquids carefully.

Sunscreens

1. Check Global or the US store. Search the product name in English. If it is there in the size or set you want, buy it there.
2. Find the Korean listing. Search the product on the Korean Olive Young site and copy the product page link.
3. Note the exact set. Korean listings often have options, such as a single bottle, a refill set or a 1+1 set. Write down the one you want.
4. Send us the product links. Add quantities. Tell us if a product contains a battery, is an aerosol, or is a supplement, so we can check shipping rules first.

Do you pay customs on Olive Young products?

United States. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels has been suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025. A February 2026 executive order kept the suspension, and the Court of International Trade upheld it on August 13, 2026. Other countries. The recipient pays local tax and duty. Olive Young Global collects tax at checkout for some destinations, including the UK, Norway, Australia, Singapore and EU countries, and on delivery for Canada and Israel, according to its shipping page. Orders from the Korean site through an agent are taxed on arrival under your country's rules.
