Stand Oil is an online-born Korean bag brand. A Korean business newspaper, NewDaily, describes it as a handbag designer brand launched by KOZHA in 2018 with an "everyday bag" concept. Korean shoppers have given its bags nicknames like the "college major bag" and the "office worker laptop bag," which hints at the students and young office workers they are made for.

The brand grew fast. NewDaily reported revenue of about ₩10 billion in 2021 and ₩20 billion in 2022. Group revenue including overseas subsidiaries reached ₩65 billion in 2024, and the company set a 2026 target of ₩150 billion.

What does Stand Oil sell?

Bags are the main product. The line has expanded into grip rings, shoes, and keyrings designed to match the bags. The Korean official store's menus include bags, shoes, accessories, a best-seller list, an "Essential" line, gift packaging and a list of items due for restock.

Which Stand Oil bag should you pick?

Use the numbers, not the photos. Product photos make every bag look roomy.

• For a light, small everyday bag: the Mio Bucket Bag is the lightest of the three at 240 g and the cheapest at ₩89,000.
• For a long shoulder strap: the Velow Bag lists a 100 cm handle with a buckle to adjust the length, so it can be worn across the body.
• For the biggest capacity: the Breezy Bag is the largest of the three at 37.5 × 31.5 × 11 cm and comes with an adjustable cross strap as well as a 44 cm handle.
• For a laptop: none of these pages lists a laptop size. Measure your laptop and compare it with the inside dimensions before ordering, and leave room for the zipper or closure.

"병행 제조" (byeonghaeng jejo, parallel manufacturing) on the page means the same bag is made in more than one country. The brand says only products that pass its quality standards are shipped, whatever the origin.

Care notes on the Velow Bag say it cannot be washed. If it gets wet, dry it in the shade with good airflow, and avoid long exposure to sun and heat.

Tip: A bag that weighs 660 to 685 g ships for less than a winter jacket, but its box size matters too. If you order two bags, they can share one box.

Can you buy Stand Oil from outside Korea?

The brand's global web store

The address en.standoil.kr redirects to standoil.global, an English web store that opens with a prompt to choose your shipping destination country and language. When we checked, it was set to South Korea in won, and the cart said discounts and shipping are calculated at checkout. Its terms name the operator as Koza Co., Ltd. The pages we could read did not list shipping countries or fees, so pick your country and check the checkout total.

Regional platforms

The stockist page also lists these online partners: SHIPS, BAYCREWS, Hypequarters by Kick Avenue, Kick Avenue, Shopee Thailand, TikTok Shop Thailand, Shopee Taiwan, Tmall and Tmall Global.

Physical stores abroad

Stand Oil opened its first Indonesian flagship store at Central Park Mall in West Jakarta on October 24, 2025, with KREAM acting as distributor, according to FashionBiz. It followed pop-ups in Jakarta in 2023 and 2024. NewDaily also reported pop-ups in Bangkok, Osaka, Shanghai and New York between 2024 and 2025.

Returns, exchanges and warranty

The Korean store's policy:

• Window: exchange and return requests must be made within 7 days of receipt.
• Change of mind: round-trip shipping is charged, at ₩2,500 each way, with extra one-way fees for Jeju (₩3,000) and remote islands (₩5,000). Size and color swaps count as change of mind.
• Not accepted: damaged packaging, missing parts, signs of use, or damage caused by careless handling.
• Not defects: wrinkles, marks and small scratches from the material, slight color differences, loose threads, small stitching irregularities, and the initial smell of packaging or leather.
• Repairs: the store mentions a six-month product warranty, after which a repair fee may apply.

Customs and import tax on bags

United States. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels has been suspended since August 29, 2025. Expect duty on a Stand Oil order.
