It is the flagship brand of Hago Haus, a brand incubator that started in 2018 as an online shopping platform. Money Today reported in December 2025 that Matin Kim's revenue was about ₩150 billion in 2024 and was expected to pass ₩200 billion in 2025.

Why tourists line up for it

Matin Kim runs stores in Seongsu and Myeongdong in Seoul, plus department store shops including the K-fashion zone at Lotte Department Store's main Myeongdong branch. The same Money Today report said over 90% of customers at its Seoul stores are overseas visitors. It also mentioned "Seoul Exclusive" products sold only at the Seoul store.

That tourist demand is why so many people abroad search for the brand after a trip. The good news is that, unlike many Korean labels, Matin Kim sells online to foreign customers directly.

Where Matin Kim has stores outside Korea

The brand has expanded quickly. Reports through 2026 list stores or partners in Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Thailand, and select shops in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. A Tokyo flagship opened in April 2026 in partnership with Musinsa, according to Inside Retail Asia.

Taiwan is a big market. Money Today reported in September 2026 that the brand opened a store in Hsinchu on September 1, its eighth in Taiwan, and that Taiwan revenue from January to August 2026 rose 163% from a year earlier. China and Vietnam store openings were planned for October 2026, and Senegal for the second half of the year.

The English site states that you are shopping with USD currency and opens a "World Shipping" country picker. The picker includes the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Germany, Singapore, the Philippines, the UAE and many more.

The same guide sets the rules for overseas orders:

• Orders ship by Korea Post EMS.
• Foreign cards and foreign currency cannot be used, so payment is through PayPal only.
• You enter your name and address in English, a postal code, an overseas phone number and an email address.
• Exchanges and refunds for overseas shipments are difficult, and the brand asks you to buy carefully.
• The brand says delivery takes about 7 to 10 days from dispatch, depending on the region.

How does Matin Kim sizing work?

Matin Kim lists a size table on each product page, with measurements of the garment itself. Some items come in letter sizes such as S, M, L and XL, and the brand notes that measurements can be off by 1 to 2 cm depending on how they are taken.

As an example, the Faded Wax Pants for Men come in L and XL. The table lists a waist of 41 and 43, a hip of 56.5 and 58.5, and a total length of 106 and 108. These are flat measurements in centimeters, so double the waist and hip to get the circumference.
