Osulloc Tea: Korean Prices, Global Stores and Import Rules (2026)

What is Osulloc?

Osulloc is a premium tea brand built around tea gardens on Jeju, Korea's southern island. Its Sejak product page describes "Farm to Cup" production: the company grows its own tea, processes the leaves and manages the whole process up to the cup, from about 1 million pyeong (roughly 330 hectares) of Jeju tea fields.

The brand was a business unit of Amorepacific, the Korean beauty group, until 2019. Amorepacific announced in August 2019 that Osulloc would become an independent company wholly owned by Amorepacific Group, starting its own operations on October 1, 2019. The company running the Korean site is ㈜오설록 (Osulloc Co., Ltd.).

Osulloc also runs physical shops. Its home page lists the Osulloc 1979, the Jeju Osulloc Tea Museum, and tea houses in Bukchon, Yongsan Park, the MMCA (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art), Haeundae, Gimpo Airport and Incheon Airport (in the Shinsegae duty-free area).

Can you buy Osulloc outside Korea?

Yes, in some countries. The brand's US site, us.osulloc.com, has a stockist page headed "We are available at," with links to:

• Osulloc's store on Amazon (amazon.com/stores/OSULLOC)
• Global Amore Mall's Osulloc collection (global.amoremall.com)
• H Mart (hmart.com)
• Erewhon (erewhon.com)
• Mega K Food (megakfood.com)

Global Amore Mall prices its Osulloc range in US dollars, advertises free shipping on orders of $55 or more, and lets you pick from a long list of countries in its shipping estimator. When we checked on October 15, 2026, its Osulloc listings included the Masterblend (32 count) at $66.30, Tea Garden (27 bags) at $51.00 and Moon Walk Tea (20 count) at $22.94, but every product in the visible section was marked sold out. Check stock before you rely on it.

The Korean site also has an English language link in its footer, which leads to the US site rather than an English version of the Korean shop.

So the honest order is:

1. In the US, try Amazon, Global Amore Mall or a Korean grocer like H Mart first.
2. In other countries, check Global Amore Mall's shipping list and local Korean grocers.
3. Order from Korea when the product, flavor, gift set or collaboration you want is only on osulloc.com, or when you want Korean pricing and promotions.

What does Osulloc sell, and how much does it cost in Korea?

The Korean site sells pure teas, blended teas, tea gift sets, desserts and snacks such as roll cakes, and tea accessories such as tumblers and strainers.

Pure teas

The Sejak page lays out Osulloc's pure tea line by fermentation level:

Sejak is the signature green tea. Its product page says it is 100% organic Jeju green tea made from young leaves picked around Gogu (곡우, a spring seasonal marker), steamed and pan-roasted in the traditional way. It lists tea farms at Seogwang, Dolsongi and Hannam on Jeju, and a long list of World Tea Contest and World Tea Champion awards between 2009 and 2021.

Korean prices, as of October 2026

The 20% discounts on 20-bag teas were part of a promotion marking a collaboration with chef Son Jong-won, which the home page listed as running from October 15 to November 15, 2026. Discounts change often. Check the product page on the day you order.

Popular blended teas

Moonlight Walk is one of the brand's best-known blends. Its product page gives the base as post-fermented tea, with pear as the key ingredient and tasting notes of sweet pear and honey. The full ingredient list is: post-fermented tea (Jeju), candy (byeolsatang, small star-shaped sugar candy), dried wild pear (Korean) and a pear flavoring preparation. Each pack holds 50g, 2.5g per bag.

That ingredient list matters for shipping. A blended tea with candy, fruit pieces or flavoring is not the same thing as plain tea leaves under some countries' import rules. See the import section below.

Collaborations and gift sets

The Korean home page also carried a LE SSERAFIM collaboration with extra gifts, listed as running from May 22 to October 30, 2026, and Miffy tie-in snacks. Collaborations like these are promoted on the Korean site, so check there first if you are looking for one. Which Osulloc tea should you choose?

If you have never tried Osulloc, the fermentation table is the easiest guide. Lower numbers taste greener and fresher; higher numbers taste rounder and closer to black tea.

• For green tea drinkers: Sejak. The product page recommends one bag in 70°C (158°F) water for 1.5 minutes, with tasting notes of nuts, orchid and sweetness.
• For sweet, fruity blends: Moonlight Walk. The page suggests one bag in 90°C (194°F) water for 2 minutes. Note that it contains candy and dried pear.
• For no caffeine: Rooibos Moonlight, which the Moonlight Walk page describes as its herbal version on a rooibos base, so the whole family can drink it without caffeine worries.
• For loose leaf: Sejak 40g or 80g, or Ujeon 60g if you want the top grade.

Tea bags are pyramid bags made of PLA, a material derived from sugarcane, according to the product pages. The 20-bag pouch for Sejak measures 145 × 235mm, small and light enough to fit in a mixed box.

What are the Korean store's delivery rules?

From the Sejak product page, as of October 2026:

• Delivery fee: ₩2,500, free on orders of ₩30,000 or more.
• Same-day dispatch: orders with the address entered by noon ship the same day; delivery usually takes 1 to 3 business days.
• No split shipments: one order ships as one parcel.
• Frozen products: cannot be delivered to remote areas or to Jeju.
• Freshness: the store ships only products with at least 6 months left before their expiry date.
• Shelf life: Sejak 20 bags lists 2 years from manufacture; Moonlight Walk 20 bags lists 1 year and 6 months.

Damage claims must be filed within 10 days of dispatch with at least three separate photos. If you buy through an agent, the parcel goes to a Korean warehouse first, so the agent is the one who checks the box on arrival.

Can you ship tea from Korea to your country?

This is where you must be careful. Tea is a food product, and each country has its own rules for food that arrives by mail or courier. HaulKorea does not promise that any tea can be shipped to any country. Here is what official sources say for two common destinations.

United States

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires prior notice for imported food, including food shipped by mail. According to FDA guidance:

• The personal-use exemption covers food carried by or accompanying a traveler arriving in the US, not food sent separately by mail or courier.
• Food made by an individual at home and sent by that individual as a personal gift is exempt.
• FDA typically considers not taking regulatory action over a prior notice violation when food is imported for non-commercial purposes with a non-commercial shipper, meaning the shipper is an individual. A shipment sent by a store is not covered by that policy.
• For food sent by international mail, prior notice must be submitted before the food is sent, and the parcel must bear the prior notice confirmation number.

What this means for a tea order from Korea depends on who ships it and how. Ask us before you order tea for a US address, and we will tell you whether we can send it and how.

Australia

Australia's Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) sets biosecurity rules for tea:

• Plain black or green tea, including flavored, is allowed from any country if it is in clean, new, unopened packaging and free of live insects and contamination.
• Tea made purely from Camellia sinensis is considered minimal biosecurity risk and does not need an import permit or mandatory inspection on arrival.
• Herbal tea bags must be commercially prepared, packaged and labelled; loose herbal tea must be in clean, new packaging. Herbal tea must contain only plant ingredients, be thoroughly dried, and be no more than 1kg per blend in a consignment. Loose leaf must contain no seeds, or only permitted seeds.
• Goods sent by post must be accurately described on the postal declaration. Goods that do not meet conditions can be treated or re-exported at the importer's expense, or destroyed.

So Sejak (100% green tea) and Moonlight Walk (fermented tea with candy, dried pear and flavoring) can fall under different rules. DAFF says its BICON database is the authority for specific conditions. Check BICON for each blend, then ask us before you order.

Other countries

Items we would not plan to ship

Osulloc's Korean site also sells cakes, roll cakes, spreads and frozen items. These are perishable, some need refrigeration, and the store itself does not deliver frozen items to remote areas. Treat them as Korea-only purchases.

Buy direct, forward, or use an agent?

If the tea you want is on Amazon or at a US stockist, buy it there. The seller handles getting it into the country. Use Korea for what you cannot get locally. Our purchasing agent vs package forwarding guide explains the two models.

How to order Osulloc from Korea through HaulKorea

1. Check local stockists first. Amazon, Global Amore Mall or a Korean grocer may already have it.
2. Pick the product on osulloc.com. Note the exact name, pack size (for example 20입, 20 bags) and whether it is loose leaf (잎차) or bags.
3. Read the ingredient list. Open 상품정보제공고시 (product information notice) on the product page and note whether it is pure tea or a blend with fruit, candy or flavoring.
4. Send us the product links and your country. Ask us before you order, and we confirm whether the item can be sent to your address and how.
5. Review one total before paying. You see the product price, Korean delivery and international shipping in one figure, and pay once with PayPal. If the real weight is lower, we refund the difference, and there is no second charge.
6. We order in Korea. Orders over ₩30,000 ship free within Korea.
7. Check the inspection photos. We photograph the sealed packs and expiry dates at our warehouse.

Do you pay import tax on tea from Korea?

United States. U.S. Customs and Border Protection suspended duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value shipments from all countries from August 29, 2025. For US orders through HaulKorea, duty is not included in the total; the recipient pays it to the carrier or postal service on delivery. Food rules such as FDA prior notice are separate from duty. Other countries. The recipient pays local VAT or GST and any duty on arrival, and the carrier may charge a handling fee. Food inspections can add time.
