It is not part of the regular global collection, so you will not find it on the US or European North Face sites. Buyers abroad usually order it from the Korean official store through a forwarding address or a purchasing agent.

What is The North Face White Label?

White Label (화이트라벨, hwaiteu label) is a Korean collection under The North Face name. The company says it was born in 2011 as the first lifestyle collection in Korea's outdoor industry. The idea was simple: take outdoor fabrics and down fill, and cut them for city wear instead of mountain trips.

It is run by Youngone Outdoor Co., Ltd. (㈜영원아웃도어), the same company that sells the main North Face line in Korea. A Korean sports daily described the line in August 2026 as sold exclusively in Korea and popular with foreign tourists as a K-fashion shopping item.

The business behind it is big. Youngone Outdoor reported revenue of about ₩1.06 trillion for 2025, up roughly 5% from 2024, according to a Korean financial newspaper citing its disclosure filing. The same report singled out White Label's growth across several categories as a notable driver.

Why is it Korea-only?

The North Face brand is managed differently in Asia. Japan's Goldwin acquired the North Face trademark rights for Japan and South Korea in 1994, according to a 2026 feature on nippon.com. In Korea, Youngone Outdoor handles brand operations, and nippon.com describes it as a joint venture between Goldwin and a Korean company.

That structure lets the Korean operator design its own lines for its own market. White Label is the result. It is the Korean counterpart to Japan's Purple Label, but the two look very different.

How is White Label different from Purple Label?

Purple Label is a Japanese line with a muted, urban look. White Label is younger and louder. Nippon.com describes the Korean version as mainly targeting women in their twenties, with a more casual and sporty style, slim cropped down jackets, and many colors including pastels.

If you have seen K-pop idols or dance crews in short, shiny puffers with a small North Face logo, that is often White Label. The line has sponsored several Mnet dance shows, including Street Woman Fighter 2 in 2023, World of Street Woman Fighter in 2025, and Street World Fighter: Director's War in 2026.

Can you buy White Label from outside Korea?

Not from the global North Face site. The main collection you see in the US, UK or EU is a different product range, and White Label items are not part of it.

There is one useful exception. A nippon.com photo caption from February 2026 states that the Korea-exclusive collection targeting young women can also be purchased through the Japanese official website. If you live in Japan, check the Japanese North Face store first. Range and prices there may differ from Korea, so compare before you decide.

For everyone else, the Korean official store is the main source. It is in Korean, it delivers inside Korea by a domestic courier, and creating an account goes through 본인인증 (bon-in injeung, identity verification), which normally needs a Korean mobile number. The store's FAQ also describes a guest checkout, but guest order lookup asks for a name and a mobile phone number.

What does White Label sell?

The White Label menu on the Korean official store is split into women-only items, down and padding, jackets and vests, tops, bottoms, sets, bags, accessories and shoes. Outerwear and bags are what most overseas buyers are after.

Down jackets and padded jackets

This is the core of the line. The down and padding page lists short down jackets, long down coats, down vests, lightweight down and synthetic padding.

"RDS" means the down is certified under the Responsible Down Standard. Many items appear several times on the page because each color has its own listing.

A Korean financial newspaper also captioned the women's Ella Nuptse down jacket (엘라 눕시다운) as a White Label product. Nuptse styles under White Label are not the same as the global Nuptse; they use different cuts, colors and sometimes different names.

What is inside a White Label down jacket?

The Project Down Jacket V2 product page gives a good idea of the build. The shell, lining and inner fabric are 100% nylon. The body and sleeves are filled with duck down at a 90/10 down-to-feather ratio. The collar and hood use polyester fill.

That is real down outerwear, not a fashion shell with thin padding. It also means the jacket packs down well, which matters for shipping cost, as explained below.

Bags and small goods

White Label bags are a quieter hit. They are light, they ship cheaply, and many come in colors the global line does not offer.

From the White Label bag page, as of October 2026: the Vaiden Cross Bag is ₩69,000, the Ella Tote Bag Mini is ₩79,000, the Vaiden Backpack is ₩109,000, the Haze Backpack is ₩145,000 and the Alden Backpack is ₩169,000. The Mini Bonney keyring is ₩27,000. The home page also listed White Label Clyffe Low sneakers at ₩109,000 and a WL Hood Zip Up at ₩128,000.

Celebrity and TV pieces

When a dance show or an idol wears a piece, that item can sell out by color within days. In 2026 the line said it would dress the cast of Street World Fighter: Director's War, naming the Olema Jacket and the Calix (Kalix) Light Down Jacket. If you are chasing a specific look from a show or photo, send the exact product name or code, because similar-looking styles often sit side by side.

How does White Label sizing work?

Korean outdoor brands label most adult clothing with a two- or three-digit number based on chest size. White Label follows this.

The Project Down Jacket V2 comes in 085 (XS), 090 (S), 095 (M), 100 (L), 105 (XL) and 110 (XXL). The product page also lists measurements of the actual garment in centimeters:

Notice the chest numbers. A 095 jacket measures 127 cm around the chest because it is cut boxy with room for layers. That is the garment, not the body it fits.

A few practical rules:

1. Measure a jacket you already own. Lay it flat, measure armpit to armpit, and double it. Compare that number with the table, not the letter size.
2. Check if the style is cropped. Many women's White Label puffers are short. Back length tells you more than the size label.
3. Check if a style is women-only. The women-only section uses its own size run, and some items are listed under W's names.
4. Do not assume your global North Face size. The global line uses US letter sizes and different patterns.

How to order White Label from abroad, step by step

Here is how an order works when HaulKorea buys it for you.

1. Find the item on the Korean store. Open thenorthfacekorea.co.kr and go to the 화이트라벨 (White Label) menu. Browser translation is good enough to read product names and prices.
2. Pick the exact color and size. Each color usually has its own product code and page. Copy the page address of the color you want.
3. Send us the product link. Add the size and quantity. If you are flexible, name a second color or size in case the first one sells out.

What does the Korean store charge before international shipping?

The Korean official store charges ₩2,500 for delivery, and delivery is free when the final payment after discounts is ₩30,000 or more. Almost every White Label jacket or bag clears that bar, so domestic delivery is usually free.

Some prices you see may be lower after login. Product pages note that members can see the maximum discount price after signing in, and the store runs member mileage. A purchasing agent buys at the price shown to it at the time of the order, so mention the price you saw when you send the link.

Why down jackets cost less to ship than you might think

International shipping is charged by weight or by size, whichever is greater. A puffer is light but bulky.

Down compresses well. A down jacket can be packed in a vacuum or compression bag to reduce the box size, which keeps the shipping estimate reasonable. Synthetic padding compresses less, and long coats need a larger box no matter what. If you want two or three jackets, one combined box is usually cheaper than separate parcels.

Returns, exchanges and what changes when you live abroad

The Korean store's rules are clear, and stricter than many Western stores:

• Change-of-mind returns: within 10 days from the day the item is received, with a ₩2,500 return shipping fee taken from the refund.
• Defects or wrong items: returned without a shipping charge.
• No exchanges: for orders placed from November 2024 onward, the store says it does not offer exchanges. You return the item and order again.
• Not returnable: items that have been worn or used so the value drops, items past the deadline, or altered items. Opening the package just to check the contents is fine.
• Cancellations: possible only while the order is at the payment-complete stage.

That 10-day window starts when the parcel arrives in Korea, not when it reaches you. Once a jacket has left Korea, returning it for a change of mind rarely makes sense, because international return postage is costly.

What about customs and import tax?

Duty on clothing depends on your country, the material and the value.

United States. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels was suspended for all countries from August 29, 2025. A February 2026 executive order kept the suspension after the Supreme Court tariff ruling, and the Court of International Trade upheld it in August 2026. Is White Label worth buying from Korea?

It depends on what you want.

Worth it if:

• You want a specific White Label color or cut that the global line does not make.
• You saw a piece on a K-pop idol or a dance show and want the same item.
• You are buying a bag or fleece, which are light and cheap to ship.
• You are already ordering other Korean items and can share one box.

Maybe not if:

• You want a classic black Nuptse. The global version is sold in your country, and buying locally avoids import tax and return problems.
• You are between sizes and cannot try it on. No exchanges in Korea plus international distance makes a wrong size expensive.
• Your country charges high import tax on clothing above a low threshold.

How to avoid fakes and gray-market listings

Popular White Label items show up on Korean marketplaces and overseas resale sites, sometimes above retail. A Korean newspaper reported that resale prices for some North Face products reached as much as three times retail.

Buy from the official store or official White Label shops when you can. On open marketplaces, look for the seller's business details and the official product code, which on the Korean store looks like NJ1DS54J.
