What is Covernat?

Covernat is one of the best-known Korean casual labels among people in their teens to thirties. Jing Daily describes it as founded in 2008 and mixing vintage, American casual and streetwear influences. The same report names C logo sweatshirts and down jackets as signature products.

The brand is run by B.CAVE, a Korean fashion company. A 2025 B.CAVE job posting describes the company's casual portfolio as including Covernat, Lee, Wacky Willy and Palette.

Who wears it?

Jing Daily reported in October 2025 that Soobin of the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER is Covernat's first Asia-wide ambassador. On the Korean mall, some caps and bags carry tags such as 수빈착용 (Subin chagyong, "worn by Soobin"), and some items are tagged as worn by Sana.

What does it sell?

The Korean mall is split into four sections: unisex (유니섹스), women (우먼), kids (키즈) and a small beauty corner (뷰티). Within those, you find outerwear, down, knits, sweatshirts, hoodies, T-shirts, denim, skirts, bags, caps, socks and shoes.

The kids line is bigger than many people expect. As of October 2026, it included a Sanrio Characters collection with Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and Pochacco T-shirts and dresses.

Can you buy Covernat outside Korea?

Yes, in some places. Check these first, because buying locally or through a global storefront is usually simpler than ordering from Korea.

There are three common reasons:

1. The item or color is missing abroad. Global storefronts carry a selection, not the full season. Kids' items, women's-only cuts and smaller collaborations are the most likely gaps.
2. You want the Korean price. The Korean mall sets its own won prices and runs its own sales. Some items were already discounted in October 2026.
3. You are combining Korean shopping. If you are also buying K-beauty, other Korean fashion or K-pop goods, one box from Korea can cost less than several parcels.

The Civic (씨빅, ssi-bik) down series is Covernat's main winter product for 2026. The mall gives it its own menu for unisex and women's versions.

How does Covernat sizing work?

Covernat uses letter sizes. The Civic Short Puffer runs XS to XXL. Each product page lists measurements of the garment in centimeters.

The page describes it as a regular fit with a 100% nylon shell, 80/20 duck down fill, a YKK two-way zip, and a nylon shell that handles light rain.

How to use the table:

1. Lay a jacket you own flat. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit. Compare that number with the "Chest, flat" column.
2. Check the length. A short puffer at 65 cm (size M) sits around the hip. If you want more coverage, look at hooded or longer styles.
3. Watch the Korean labels. 총장 (chongjang) is total length, 어깨 (eokkae) shoulder, 가슴 (gaseum) chest, 소매 (somae) sleeve, 밑단 (mitdan) hem.
4. Women's lines are cut separately. Products named 우먼 (u-meon, women) have their own tables.

What are the Korean mall's rules?

The mall's order pages state that return requests are only possible within 7 days after delivery is completed. When you request a return, a courier is sent to pick it up within one to two business days, so you do not need to call the courier yourself.

That 7-day window starts when the parcel reaches the Korean address. For an agent or forwarder, that is the warehouse. Once the item has left Korea, a change-of-mind return is rarely practical.

How to order Covernat from Korea, step by step

1. Check global options first. Look at Musinsa Global, or ZOZOTOWN if you are in Japan.
2. Find the item on covernat.co.kr. Browser translation is enough to read names and prices. Product codes look like CO2604DP01BK, where the last letters are the color.
3. Copy the link for the exact color. Each color usually has its own page and code.
4. Send us the product link. Add the size and quantity, plus a backup color or size if you are flexible.

How much does shipping a Covernat jacket cost?

International shipping is based on actual weight or box size, whichever is greater. That matters for puffers.

• Down compresses well. A Civic down jacket filled with 80/20 duck down can be packed tightly, which keeps the box small.
• Padded (synthetic) jackets compress less. The Lake padded jackets need more space than a down jacket.
• Caps, beanies and tees are cheap to add. Putting a cap in the same box as a jacket adds little.

Do you pay customs on Covernat?

United States. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels has been suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025. A February 2026 executive order kept it suspended, and the Court of International Trade upheld the suspension on August 13, 2026. Congress has also repealed the exemption by law from July 1, 2027. Worth it if:
